Middle Atlantic Rack Mount Fans?
I saw these on the internet and was wondering if anyone knows anything about them.Ive been wanting to buy dual fans to keep my gear cool but was wondering is there's an on/Off Switch?All i see is a plate with two fans mounted and two sets of power cords.So do these stay on 24/7,just to add if you had experience in this brand or any other brand that makes rack mounted fans get at me plz...Thanks
Middle Atlantic is a great company. The other answerer may be right about the thermostat.
My advice would be to avoid fans unless your racks are in a area with poor air circulation. If they are not really needed all they will do is make noise and use electricity. Most devices like audio power amps that generate a lot of heat already have fans built in.
If you position your rack mounted equipment with some space in between you probably will not have heat buildup.
