Volt Resistance
what is the ohm resistance on a 12-volt ballast resistor for a Mallory coil? Is it 8 ohms?
My new MSD coil requires an 8-ohm ballast resistor for a dual-point distributor and I want to know if the one I have is the correct resistance. It is probably an older GM and has worked fine with the old Mallory coil.
my answer is try to check it out first on auto repair shop...
